One of the newest applications for TEGs is to destroy vented methane from pneumatic instruments. TEGs are proven to destroy 99.9% of methane while operating, so are an excellent solution to decreasing greenhouse gases on vented gas. When paired with a suitable manifold system, TEGs can burn a combination of vented gases and also be topped up with instrument gas (if required) for an economical and reliable solution to eliminating vented gas from wellheads. These systems provide excellent methane destruction, decrease the consumption of salable gas and deliver reliable power for instruments or battery charging.
